With all due respect, Gorda, the average price per square foot of houses in Arizona is a worthless statistic - even if anybody had that number. There are simply way too many other factors to be of value or benefit to any home buyer, things such as the location, condition, size, upgrades, amenities, etc., etc.

Your best bet would be to contact a local Globe real estate agent and ask him/her your specific questions.

Your interest in average sq ft price should be determined by comparable sales in the area that your prospective home is in. It will be determined by the neighborhood sales. You will need to also be careful about having foreclosure homes or other non conforming homes in the list of comparables. A local agent will be able to give you comparable rates for each area you desire.

Good luck

I agree with Randy, that broad of an area will yield near useless advice. Price per square foot is useful if you have homes of similar age, style, quality, size, lot size, location, room count and other factors. A 5700 square foot luxury house with a view may be cheaper per square foot than a 1100 square foot starter home.
Base your values on a well devised Comparative Market Analysis done by an experienced professional agent.
