Lynnelle, When an agent enters information into the local Multiple Listing Service there is an area for searchable rooms like; family room, office, den, downsatirs bedroom, etc.... things that will help a buyer or agent find a more exact match when searching for homes. For instance, if you wanted a home with a den you could search for a home with a den and if the agent entered den under searchable rooms those homes will come up in your MLS search. I hope this helped.

"Searchable Rooms" is a term used in the MLS for specific defined rooms. It allows the listing agent to define if the home has them or not in case the buyer's agent, or a buyer is searching to make sure the property has those rooms and potentially what size they are. An example would be Living Room, Dining Room, Family Room etc... It is related to the searching functions of the MLS.

Hope that helps,
Kind Regards,
