The short answer is: The best area to buy is anywhere you find a house you like at a price you are willing and able to pay.
Of course there are many things you need to investigate in order to find out whether you really like the house. That is why it would be helpful to work with a professional Realtor who can help you do your research.
The opportunities are everywhere, but some are better than others.

Dear Home Buyer, NO licensed agent should tell you where to buy a home, that would be against our license and is called steering! NOT ALLOWED! Be weary of anyone who tells you where to buy! There are many websites to get information on schools, employment statistics, economic cursors, etc. and you should Investigate where YOU WANT TO BUY AND THEN LET A LICENSED AGENT LIKE MYSELF HELP YOU TO NEGOTIATE THE PURCHASE YOUR HOME AND MANAGE THE PROCESS ON YOUR BEHALF. tHERE ARE MANY RESOURCES ON MY WEBSITE: http://www.LillibridgeRealEstate.com
