What if one bank doesn't pre approve you? Does that mean you won't get pre approved at all?

It might...it certainly raises a red flag.....but it depends on why you were turned down.

Low credit scores?
Insufficient income?

Find out why and work on it.
Speak to another loan officer - discuss what occurred, and see what his or her opinion is.

Best wishes

Talk to a Mortgage Banker, not the ones that sit at a bank. They should be able to get you other guidelines from other investors (other than banks).

Lenders do have different programs (loans) and qualifications but all have some basic criteria such as minimum credit scores. Find a lender who will help explain your options and perhaps assist you in working on qualifying in the future. Hope you can buy a home someday soon!
