The best way would be to have a licensed real estate agent come into your property and give you an estimate of it's value. Make sure the agent specializes in your area and that they are experienced and successful. Real estate agents based on their experience can get a gut feel for a homes value which typical is much more accurate than anyone else who looks at the property.
The agent will furnish you with comparable homes that have sold as of late and homes that are actively for sale. This will help to show how the agent draws his or her conclusions. There is no cost or obligation for this service which any real estate agent can provide. Based on that, often times a homeowner will have several real estate agents come in that then average all the opinions together.
Another way to find out how much your home is worth would be to simply put it on the market for sale and see what types of offers you get. The highest offer you get is basically what the house is worth. If I can be of further assistance, or if you would want me to come by and take a look at your home to tell you what it may be worth, please contact me direct. Good luck either way!
