Martin gave a good answer. If you are working with a Realtor, he or she can tell you exactly how much your taxes will be on any home. If you're not working with a Realtor, ask the homeowner to provide you with that information. The taxes in Peachtree City are generally very reasonable considering the high level of services offered in the City. The amenities here are wonderful and property values are very stable.

As a local Realtor, I tell my buyer clients to estimate between .9% and 1.1% of their Purchase Price to be the annual property taxes in Peachtree City. While this may seem to be un-scientific, it works out quite well for most buyers. So on a $300,000 home, the annual property tax should be in the range of $2800-3300. Of course, your taxes may vary due to your own specific exemptions and circumstances. You can visit the tax assessor's website here: http://www.fayettecountytaxcomm.com/
