Small town friendly Community" You can walk around town at midnight alone and no one will bother you.
Clean, honest caring people. We are only 9 miles north west of Dunlap and one of the Best kept secrets IN PEORIA County. You get a lot more for your money and bargin taxes. Nothing against Dunlap or Washington except that your children will most likely go to 3 different schools depending on their age and grade where in Princeville we have one well kept grade school and one well kept High School within walking distance of each other.

Hmm, if you like rural areas, small towns, and maybe a tad less taxes, then you will like Princeville. Located only about 20-25 min from Peoria, but plenty of room to spread out. You can occasionally buy acreage in Princeville and it hasn't succumbed to "cookie-cutter" houses yet.

Dunlap is known for it's schools and high taxes. Lots of homes being built there some cookie-cutter, some not. Dunlap sits between Princeville and Peoria, so therefore it is more convenient. Probably a little more diversity in Dunlap than Princeville as a lot of Caterpillar transferees live there.

Washington is a nice quiet little town. Historic in nature with beautiful old Victorian homes and a good mix of new homes as well. Located on the East side of the Illinois River, many choose Washington over Peoria because it has a small-town atmosphere but close to the bigger city. Taxes are probably between Princeville and Dunlap rates.

Hope I answered your question. If you have others, please feel free to contact me. I do sell in all of these areas.
