Hi Ron,
You should discuss the matter with your agent as soon as posible, meaning call him/her now...

Ask your buyers agent who knows terms and conditions of sales contract executed by both parties. No one can render an opinion on your behalf till full review of the contract

These questions need to be addressed to your Realtor. But to answer the question in a vague way , certainly depends on why you feel like your stuck. Did you lose your job, are you relocating, are you getting buyers remorse, has your family tryed to talk you out of buying, have you found a better home for a better price, has your contract expired, did the home not meet your expectations?
You see there are so many reasons why you feel you are stuck and we here can only guess.
Please talk with your Realtor who has experienced this same question you have asked here, your not the first one who has felt this way.
Good luck my friend.

Depends and not knowing all your details--are you in contract and if so what does it state--what is your agent advising--if you are not in contract, then yes, you should be able to walk away.
