cockroackes. We were unable to rid either and they created a danger for my family. We vacated the home, loosing our deposit of $2,000 on the mobile home and park rent. Is there a law that stands behind our actions so the mobile home owner or the park cannot come after us?

In order to best protect yourself, do consult with an attorney who specializes in real estate and have all related documentation reviewed--see exactly what options you may have.

Arnpo you would need to check with someone in transportation as the title on a mobile home in AZ is controld by state law 28-2063. Did you get the title to the mobile home?

You do need to consult with an attorney who specializes in real estate and tenant/landlord law. Review all the documents you were presented with and those you signed for the transaction and bring those with you when you meet with an attorney. Be sure to look for disclosure documents that mention the condition of the property.

You need to contact a lawyer. There are laws that protect you in a real estate transaction which this is not. You may be looking at disclosure law but, because this home was not affixed to real property in the sale the typical disclosure laws may not apply. There should be landlord tenant laws that could protect you and you should read through them..
Needless to say most Real Estate agents won't know offhand the answer to your question. Get an Attorney.
