We are re locating to University Area. Our budget limit is $225000.00. Are there any homes in Old Stone?

Asked by Dottie Sylvester, Old Stone Crossing Mon Feb 11, 2008

Crossing that will fit our budget. I will be working in Concord and my husband is retired. This seemed like a good place to move. Thanks, Dottie

I am really familiar with the area. There are many homes for sale in Old Stone Crossings. Is Old Stone the only subdivision that you are interested in living? I would welcome the opportunity to assist you in your new home search. Please feel free to contact me if you would like further information or if you have any questions.

Hi Dottie,
With a budget of $225,000 you should be able to find a very nice home in the University area. You may want to consider looking at Huntersville, Concord, and Harrisburg as well. Here is a great website to look on. No pressure- http://www.SearchSouthCharlotteHomes.com.

My Talk Charlotte Real Estate Team sells in those areas a lot. Check us out and if you think we can help you, give us a call. You may qualify for the $8,000 if you are a first time buyer or $6,500 tax credit. This expires 4/30/10 so I hope you find your perfect new home fast.

Have you considered Harrisburg, NC? We are open to leasing our home - its only 2 years old - 4 bdroom and 2.5 bath in a great neighborhood. My parents live in Old Stone - there is a bunch of foreclosures there - but I guess that is almost everywhere now. We opted to move out of Charlotte-Meck and got a great price on our home; however, we are moving to Raleigh, NC due to work. If you haven't found that home your looking for - and ours is not what you want - I would consider Harrisburg, NC - its right next to the Charlotte border and has all the benefits of a small town.
