Gail is right it is all different. However an example since you wanted ballpark is a listing I have for $500,000 where the taxes are $550 a month.
You sould look at listing on http://www.elliman.com to get an idea.

There is no ballpark figure. It will vary from a building to building.
There are many units available in new developments ( new construction and conversions) which have received Tax Abatements. These will be the buildings with the lowest real estate taxes at least for a fixed period of time which could be something like 10 years for example. It will be important to determine when was the tax abatement approved and how many years are left on it. Real Estate agent will be able to select the tax abated buildings for you.

There is no ballpark figure on tax. Your Realtor should provide you with accurate, updated tax information on each property.

Otherwise, contact NYC Dept of Finance and look up the property for this information.
