Was there great damage to the New Orleans East area from Hurricane Katrina? Has NOLA E been slow to recover from Hurricane Katrina? If so, why?

Are you planning to move to this area?
There are great Plans being implemented right now in the commercial real estate market...from hospitals to movie studios.

But it does seem as though there is talk for the commercial activity to return? Isn't there talk of Costco coming? And what happened to Sam's coming to Bullard?

There was great damage to New Orleans East during Hurricane Katrina but the recovery can be seen as number of family have rebuild and moved back in. Commercial buisness have yet to return with such vigor but I look at this as opportunities are still available.

The residential recovery has been good. It's the lack of commercial recovery that is holding the area back.
