Want to rent a home in Downtown Mckinney, TX. Should I contact sellers of homes that have been on market a while and see if they'd be willing to?

Owners that have a house on the market already have a relationship with a REALTOR® whom often suggests renting out the house if it isn't selling. I am working with several renters in McKinney at the moment, and have frequently asked other agents if their clients would be willing to lease their house. Sometimes the owner is willing to rent their house.

I am currently finding 5 listings for lease near the downtown area. I am more than happy to send those listings to you, and keep you updated as new properties become available.

I am a McKinney REALTOR® and cannot seem to find enough local lease listings to satisfy the growing demand for leasing in this area! A decent property listed at the right price does not seem to stay on the market for more than a couple of days!

I regularly contact the Agents of homes that have been on the market for 60 or more days to see if their client might be interested in leasing while they continue to try to sell or even for a year or 2 until the market turns. I have had a decent amount of success with this endeavor. If you are working with a REALTOR® already, call that person and inquire about this option and if you do not have a REALTOR® that you are working with, I would love to help you in your search!

Sure you can do that, but I don't often see that works.
Most sellers likely need the money from this house to buy the next one.

I do show a couple for lease now. You can click on the link below to see what's available.
