Vacation rental or all over the year?

Asked by Tschödrich-rotter, New Germany, MN Fri Feb 6, 2009

Is there a market to rent a single-family house all over the year instead of vacation rental?
What do you think is better? I ´ve heard that it is difficult to rent to tourists and many houses are empty most of the year? We think about Lehigh Acres area...
Thanks for your advice.

That is a good question, The market for rentals for single family residences are typically one year leases to provide for families or individuals that live and work in our area. The rental market is still good in most areas. Lehigh Acres is a good area for single family homes that an investor would purchase to rent it out. Most vacation or seasonal rentals are most likely located closer to our area beaches and these consist of condo units or timeshare units. We have our seasons here for the vacation rentals when most are occupied but your right that some are empty off season, but there is still a market for both, I would be happy to assist you in your plans, please use the link to my website below and make contact with me. I will look forward to it, Have a great day!

Our group has a full service property management division. We only do a few seasonal rentals as they are more in golf communities and beach areas. You would be best served with an annual rental. Give us a call if you would like to discuss the possibilities further.
