Town Green opinions please!

Asked by Armand Ramirez, Petaluma, CA Fri Sep 26, 2008

Hey everyone,
I've got clients looking for a higher-end vacation home or condo in the Santa Rosa/Windsor/Healdsburg area. Windsor town this place a ghost town or what? Why don't we make this "voices" thing interesting and get some good commentary!

Town Green has had its ups and downs. The homes available are great if you like that type of living. It is not a "Ghost town" just too many people purchased in the height of the market and ended up loosing them to foreclosure or short sale. The town it self is a busy family town. There is always something happening in town green. Movie Night, Farmers Market, Christmas Tree Lighting, Parade, Music and more. Many little businesses that are doing well and some very tasty restaurants to try.

Hi Armand,
There's a big variety of places to suit second home buyers in Windsor and Healdsburg. One of the problems is narrowing down what people really want. In the Windsor Town Green we're looking at a relatively new community that has been going through growing pains and trying to find the right mix of ground level shops. Some of the earlier retail efforts weren't a good fit, but most of the existing businesses are doing well. There are some great values in the upstairs condos, so if your clients like the idea of urban infill projects, they might like this as a long term investment. Healdsburg has Healdsburg Commons, The Grove, and Foss Creek Circle for second home buyers, but only The Grove and Healdsburg Commons would probably fit your client's needs.
