Hi, Jacquie, I noticed this question wasn't answered by anyone in SW Florida. I could very easily send you listings for you to peruse at your leisure or I can set you up in ListingBook which will allow you to look through the MLS yourself.

Some of the areas in the SW are on city water/sewer, some are just getting city water/sewer (and they buyer will assume the assessment) or some areas are still on well and septic. That's where I would be able to help you determine which area you would really like to purchase a new home. We moved here from White Plains, NY 13 years ago and we absolutely love it here, we don't miss the gray & dingy days, icy roads, or shoveling snow, that's for sure! This morning is absolutely beautiful, the windows are open and the sun is just coming up - it's going to be a gorgeous SW Florida day!

There are a lot of foreclosures on the market right now, and they are priced to sell. They go under contract quickly, sometimes there are even multiple offers. Working with a Realtor will help you navigate these waters.

Give me a call at 239-823-6883 or email me at, I will be able to answer all of your questions and we can get you set up on ListingBook (it is a lot easier to use than searching through listings on
