What about suburb or small town in immediate area--walkability & high level of education/cultural oops, are key. $350K is OK.

Tough get, Btalexa! Interior neighborhoods with the style of home you want is a challenge. You might look around the Wooten area. Not the style of home, though fewer students and some walkability.
