Allen ISD is currently registering students for the 2012-13 school year.
1. Please contact your school registrar to begin the process
2. Bring required documentation:
a. 2 proofs of residency (lease/contract or voter registration card and/or one current utility bill)
b. Latest report card
c. Birth certificate
d. Immunization Record
e. Social Security Card
3. Complete registration packet
To register in Allen ISD, a student must live within the boundaries of Allen ISD and meet state age and health requirements.
Registration packets for elementary students may be obtained from the front office of each elementary school and middle school.
Contact the registrar at Allen High School and the Lowery Freshman Center for registration procedures.
Enrolling New Students
Parents enrolling their student for the first time should contact the school at which their child will attend. A child must be five years of age on or before September 1 to enter kindergarten and six years old on or before September 1 to enter first grade. A birth certificate or hospital record from the time of birth that shows parent names - child's name and birthdate, two proofs of residency, the child's social security card and immunizations record are needed. All immunizations must be complete before a child can register.
A current utility bill may be used as one proof of residency; the other must be a voter registration card, an apartment lease, or the closing date on a house. (Closing date must fall within the first nine weeks of school to be eligible for enrollment.)
Contact the Student Services Office at 972-727-7115 to verify eligibility if you have any questions.
Parents may pick up registration packets in advance at the school office during school hours.
