Dear Sir or Madam,

Renter's insurance may be required by some landlords, however it is not seen that often as a requirement.

It is a personal choice if you want to insure your personal items if it's not required by the landlord.

If you need a list of homes available not requiring insurance feel free to contact me.

D_A Pretty hard to help you with this without
seeing the house.
The issue of protection of your interests is the greater concern here.!
Rental Properties most always present the prospect
of more liability exposure for the owner, The potential
calamity from carelessness or abuse is also increased.
In theory you could ignore insurance and still Rent the house out-
but in-fact leaving yourself open to Huge Risk!
While you are formulating your Rental Plans you can
discuss with your Realtor ways to get protection
as well as special structure to the lease agreement
you are going to use. Best to have an attorney consult too!
Play it smart ! Get the help you need! Have your Rental
provide benefit!

If you would like more on this contact me directly!

Not every community requires renters insurance.

If you are renting a place usually the type of insurance you would get would be for your contents only. The owner of the home will carry the hazard insurance policy that insures the structure. You can get a renters policy just for your own belongings. Some place require you to get renters insurance so they won't be responsible for your belongings. Renters insurance can be reasonable, depending on what value amount you insure them for. I've seen policies that run $100 a year, that's pretty inexpensive.
