Relocating from NJ to Orlando area. Recomm. as to which neighborhoods are best for a family of 4 to include a good public school system?

Asked by mattypinstripes, Orlando, FL Thu Jul 18, 2013

The job would be at the Naval Air Warfare Center in Orlando, and I'm ideally looking for a 15 minute commute from a town that isn't over populated. Thanks.

If you are still looking consider Oviedo & Winter Springs: top rated schools, consistently voted one of America's top ten cities to raise a family. Follow the link below for the article:

Here is a crash course on Orange County...

(Close to downtown without the premium... Winter Park and Conway area)

Winter Park - quaint shopping district, Rollins College, historic district (1980s and older) - 32792, 32789

Conway - Lake Conway area, near shopping mall, near airport, centrally located - 32812

Boggy creek - immediately west of airport - 32824

Hi Matty:

Lake Nona area with an expected 30000 jobs and ~$7.6 Billion Dolars impact on the region’s economy takes the cake as far as investment is concerned. Eagle Creek & Village Walk are both in Lake Nona, gated and have beautiful homes, Laureate Park & Randall Park in Lake Mary are also very nice.

Keenes Pointe, Belmere & Glenmuir in Windermere are all gates and absolutely beautiful (My personal Favorite is Keenes Pointe)

Celebration close to Kissimmee, Heathrow in Lake Mary & Bay Hill in Dr. Phillips area in Orlando are also very very nice.

I have sold several properties in all these areas so feel free to call or email me with any questions. Below are just a few homes for your review

Hi Matty,

Florida does A,B,C etc. for their school system. There are several tools that I have that can assist you with your search. Based on where the Naval Air Warfare Center is I think you may want to reconsider your commute time. This is in a busy area however you are minutes away from Oviedo. This area was rated one of the best cities to live in. I have included a link for you to view. I also have a wonderful video of Orlando that I can share with you if your interested. With interest rates rising now is a great time. Take a minute to view my endorsements and profile to see if you would like to work with me. I look forward to earning your business.

Hi Adolfo.
I live in College Park with my two kids and I believe it is an ideal place to bring up a family. Princeton Elementary is excellent (public) and Lake Silver which serves the other side of College Park is also very good. This area is close to downtown and is right off the highway so you can get anywhere quickly. The middle and high schools are very good as well. I would be happy to show you around when you come to look, my number is 321-696-3482.

Thanks,
Lee

Hey, Matty! Are you in Florida already?

I graduated UCF and know this area a well as my own reflection in the mirror:)

The location of your work and family lifestyle with good schools as one of the most requirements prompt me to recommend you Oviedo. It is a very nice area with good schools, and there are many options to choose from.

I have a lot of information for you to share since I am so familiar with this area.

Please, feel free to contact me with any questions at: 407-970-8245 or email to: natallia.mann@yahoo.com

There are several nice small communities in the area close to where you need to be . What are your children's activities and things you like as a family? Riding around these areas would give you a better feel. Like Avalon Park, Oviedo and Waterford . When are you in town to look?

Moved from Philadelphia 7 years ago. I loved Celebration but you don't get a lot for your money. I live in the Windermere/Winter Garden area. Besides being close to Disney you have great schools, shopping and more.
If you need anymore help you can email me at bobby.gagliardi@c21teamfeltrim.com

Hi

Welcome to Florida! Lake Nona, Celebration, Baldwin Park, Winter Garden and Hunters Creek are some of the newer neighborhoods. College Park, Winter Park are good established neighborhoods with homes built in the 1930's and up.

I would recommend you drive around to the different areas and look at the amenities offered.

Your ideal location is going to be Avalon Park! Great schools, family friendly community, tons of recreational parks and activities, restaurants, groceries, dog parks, etc. I personally chose Avalon Park to live in because of its quiet communities like the northern NJ areas (I moved from the Paramus, NJ area in 2003) 15min to the airport, 12min to your job, easy access to all major highways. Lots of options as far properties, I can send you a gorgeous listing I have close to elementary school and high school available for offers as well as a couple of others.

Feel free to call/text/ or email me anytime!!

Hello. Generally speaking, there are various nice neighborhoods near that area ideal for Families. such as Waterford Lakes, Avalon Park, Cypress Springs, Woodland Lakes, Oviedo, etc. but it really depends on Your family's specific needs and preferences. If you haven't already contacted an agent to help you find the right home or help you with information please consider my services, it'd be my pleasure helping a fellow New Jerseyan.

NJ, NY, Philly, B-More, Mass, what's up with all the northerners invading FL all of a sudden? I just wish they'd require a driving test before entering the state! lol

I was sent to Orlando /NTC, back when it was open, from Camp LeJeune part of a Marine FAC team to call in air strikes in the Ocala National Forrest from aircraft carriers sitting off Daytona Beach. It was like being on vacation going to any Navy or AF Base! (i.e. Myrtle Beach AF Base back in the day!)

Anyway, check out these loan programs below, then contact me to talk about how to minimize payments and reduce out of pocket costs.
