Recently viewed a home, now it's off the market. Can we still purchase it? What steps would we have to take. Can we contact the seller?

Asked by Monique Hall, Milwaukee County, WI Mon Mar 26, 2012

The home has not been sold, it appears that the sellers changed their minds. It appears, that due to the number of days listed, they may have removed it due to inactivity. The home was grossly overpriced for the area and the lack of newer amenities, and upgrades. Can we write a letter to the seller asking them to contact our agent?

The best thing to due perhaps would be to call your Realtor that showed you the house. He can arrange another showing through the former listing agent if the seller is still willing to sell. There could be several reasons why it has expired and now is off the market.

Best of luck to you going forward.
