Willis, if you have VA benefits that will allow you to do zero down, this is a great time to buy a home. There is alot to choose from, prices are lower than they have been in years and rates are in the low 5% range. If you wait a few more years, things will change dramatically and the opportunity will pass you by.

If you can afford to rent to own the place, you can afford the mortage payment. $100,000 mortage is $552.00/month right now. With lease options you are required to put down a few months rent also as a deposit. This money can stay in your pocket and you get in zero down.

I am certifieed USAA agent, I have several agents in that area that could help make sure you get your benefits with no money down. Let me know if you would like someone to call you. Thanks!
