Stephanie... don't worry you are in good shape. Jim was right that you want a clear title so let this take its course and you will be better off. In my experience I have seen titles take over 3 months to clear... you will have to speak to your agent and see where you are in the process to judge how much longer it will take.

If you want to ask your agent where they are in the process you can give me a call and I will explain what will happen next and what you have to look forward to.

Either way good luck!

Stephanie--That is a good thing, you want clear title. Your Realtor should be able to follow up with the listing agency as to how title correction is proceeding.

It should mean that they found what is called a 'cloud' on the title, this could be a lien by a sudcontractor, HOA, tax lien or other problems that may have shown up after the foreclosure.

It could also mean they have a problem with the foreclosure process that was done.

Time that is the fifty dollar question, it be a week 3 months or never, if it's the property you want just hang in there and call or email the listing agent or auction company to get updates.
