So, I can purchase a nice home for twenty-six hundred dollars? What a deal!
Seriously, Trulia lists home prices in this way and I just do not get it.

Hi Joanne,
It's been a while, but are you still out there? There are many nice homes in Libertyville for rent ranging from $1,000 up to $5,000 per month.
However, in this economy it is sometimes cheaper to buy than rent. The Real Estate market is picking up in a huge way! Libertyville homes that are marketed properly are selling faster than ever!

Thank you...yes, I thought the figure was a monthly rental but that was omitted from the listing.

More info needed, but it looks like you are looking at a rental property and 2600 would be the monthly rent price.

I think my question is relevant only to the home prices I see on Trulia. Very confusing to me! Thanks.
