the 2 areas that you are concidering are very different from each other. Whiting is inland and Pheasant run in Forked River is closer to the water with more to do around you. It depends on what it is your looking to retire to? Location is generally a priority but then you have to factor in what ammenities you want such as conveniences or more general low key away from it all and then finally the expense.
