Frisco is quite a hot area, both in sales and rentals! Select a realtor you'd like to work with, and he/she can devote their time to finding the house that fits you best, in regards to size, location, schools, and return on investment. The realtor service should also be at no cost to you as a buyer either. Just contact any of us, and provide more details on your maximum budget, bedrooms/bathrooms desired, etc. Best of luck!

Good evening,

Start by choosing an agent who can work with you. Read the profiles and testimonials provided by our clients. I'm great at working with buyers remotely as you relocate, but see what my clients say about how I work.

Establish a budget. If your going to lease this property after your next move, then you need to evaluate how this property will will affect your qualifications for a mortgage on your next house.

Get pre-approved for a loan so that you can move quickly on the best deal.

There are a few strategies to consider. I would suggest setting a budget and balancing out your comforts while you live in it with your rental return requirements. Also would depend on your investment model and taxes. Please feel free to contact me and we can have a conversation to see hiw we may ve able to work together.

Thanks for posting your question on Trulia Voices. All of us that subscribe appreciate the opportunity to provide our expertise and knowledge to help you. Obviously there is a draw to Frisco for you. And rightly so. Frisco is becoming one of the most prolific growth sectors in the Metroplex which should serve it and its residents well for the forseeable future. However, it is impossible to say for certain what the market will be like in 3 years in regards to rental opportunities. But having been a Collin County resident for 40+ years, I am confident that we will continue to see this area of the Metroplex experience growth in value and in population,

That being said, my council would be to find a property that suits your personal needs since it will be your home for 3 years. And of course there are any number of professional Realtors that can help you with this. But it is important that whoever you choose has a very focused process that they follow so that you can be certain that you get the home you want and want the home you get.

Please feel free to call on me if I can provide any additional information to you. I wish you the very best in your endeavor and I hope that your short stay in the Dallas area will be a memorable one.
