Honestly if you have the equity to price the home correctly it should sell pretty quickly. I'm an Austin Realtor but have some connections in El Paso and the market is pretty strong there. It all comes down to price and condition. Make sure your home is priced correctly and is in move in condition. You should be able to sell it pretty quickly.
Remember, holding out for more money will just cause you to pay more for your next home as well because there is a good chance that home prices have stopped falling and are on their way up in Texas. In Austin prices have already shown some dramatic increases in the past 90 days. Inventory is at it's lowest point in a long time and prices are moving up accordingly.
Best of luck to you.
