Loan for a Canadian citizen who is currently working in San Diego.

Asked by Matineh2001, San Diego, CA Sun Sep 9, 2012

Hi, I am a Canadian citizen, recently moved from Canada to San Dieg. I have a very good permanent job here in San Diego , and also I have a good credit history in Canada. My annual income here in san diego will be over $100,000. My question is if I am eligible to get a loan for home buying with a low downpayment.

Hi Matineh,

We have lots of experience working with non-US investors and home buyers.

By far, your best bet will be to go with the Royal Bank of Canada:

They regularly help Canadians get mortgages in the United States. What more can you ask for?

I have lenders that work with Foreign Nationals on a regular, and we have assisted several buyers like yourself with getting qualified for a loan. Contact me at your earliest convenience, so that we can move forward and start looking for some homes.

Half my family still holds Canadian citizenship. I have several outlets regarding loans for Foreign nationals or those holding specific work permits. Contact me at your convenience to discuss.

Best wishes,
