I been renting for about 20 years, in the past I been promised from my previews landlord that if I fix the house he would sell it to us with the land contract, we put new marble title floors,new Jacuzzi tub, new cabinets in bathroom and the kitchen, the lawn we replant all the new grass, and brought it up in the great condition, and not including the painting,and after we spend almost $40K for the house, he ask us if we want to buy the house, but he raised the price double because of the updates we did, so we been riped off, and never got our money back, so we are still looking to buy a house with rent option to buy, with the monthly payment no more than $500, but I would like to go thorough the company this time because I am afraid to take chances again.
