It all depends on the particular property. We all know not all homes are created equal. If I may, are you looking at selling a home you currently own or are you looking into buying in LVCC? The great thing about LVCC is almost all single family homes are on the golf course. Great location if you need to be near the Strip of by UNLV. Many people like to live in this area as it is close to everything on the Strip yet in a gated community right behind the Las Vegas Convention Center. The entire area was developed in 1979 and many of the homes date from that era. Many of the homes have been seriously remodeled. The floorplans tend to reflect the 1970's so that is sometimes a drawback to how fast the property sells.

In terms of resale, if the home is in good condition and has been remodeled, it should sell in about 90 days. If you are asking if you would make a profit buying in this area, that is anyone's guess as it would be anywhere. It entirely depends on what the market is doing when you decide to sell. All I can say is that it is a nice, convenient place to live. Based on that, I would say buy the home if you like it. If you don't like it, then don't buy it thinking that it will bring in $$$ when sold. It may and it may not - it depends on the market.

This is a great community inside a guard gate. Be sure to check out the surrounding areas as well to make sure it is a good fit for you. You can also you the LVMPD's crimeview website to see recent crimes in the area to get a feel for the neighborhood.

There are a lot of older homes in this area so you may be able to find one that has not been rehabbed and the rehab it yourself to increase your profits. Be sure to have a solid inspection and budget for the rehab costs to make sure you maintain your profit margins.

Hi Suzy. The resale is very good in the Las Vegas Country Club entire area. That being said, it does depend on the "House." If the house has good amenities, good views, and as we say in the real estate business has "Good bones", the resale value is excellent.
