There are a lot of great neighborhoods for a families in North Florida.

Jacksonville has some wonderful communities throughout from Beautiful Historic areas to areas with large concentrations of newer homes, many offering lifestyle amenities.

World Golf Village and North West St. Johns County ofers a majority of newer communities with community amenities. There is also a minority of older homes, farms & ranches throughout the area.

SCHOOLS

The inividual schools in Jacksonille range from needing much improvement to ranking among the best in the nation. I am providing a link to the Florida Department of Education school grades report. Just select Duval county to gain access to data for all 115 + schools( more being built this year) in Duval County.

There are a lot fewer schools in St. Johns County (World Golf Village) (24 and more being built this year). Most of those rank very well. You can access the data for this county as well by selecting St. Johns County to view the schools in that district.

CRIME

In any city there area areas where crime is more active and areas where crime is almost non existent. Jacksonville (Duval County) and St. Augustine (St. Johns County) is no different than any other city.

The best way to get infomration on crime is to contact the Sheriff Department Zone Commanders. The infomation you receive will be more accurate to the specific areas you seek and the answers more direct than what a Realtor can legally discuss.

The following are links to County zone maps and the contact numbers for the Sheriff's Departments for both Jacksonville and St. Johns County.

Wishing you the best of success in finding the perfect neighborhood and home for your family

Hi Kris!

For a thriving community with plenty to do and see, the pace is surprisingly relaxed at The Neighborhoods of World Golf Village. Homes and neighborhoods are tucked away on treed homesites and streets that intertwine with thousands of acres of nature preserves and unspoiled uplands. Whichever neighborhood you choose, amenities and conveniences are always close at hand. All of the communities offer easy access to golf, tennis, spa services, shopping and more, with plenty of room and reasons to gather with friends and family.
