Let me ask you Where are you from because that will give us a better ideal what you are looking for
Because they had different names for Garden Homes and it all depends on where you are from
Example: Patio" Homes , Zero Lot Line or even a condo.

I am in Louisiana. They have homes in Houma LA that are called garden homes. They have just a small yard (if any), one floor and the garage is normally in the front. I thank you again. I really do not want a condo. I do not want stairs. I do want something that is not that old.

I am not sure how to reply to all of these answers. I really appreciate the answers. Are they not called garden homes? I am trying to search using the term and nothing is coming up. I believe I have a little time to research before I need to move. If you could just point me in the right direction, I will look and then let ya'll know when I'm there to look.

Thanks again so much!

You may want to consider villas, townhomes and/or areas such as Avalon, Lakes of Windermere and even Baldwin Park!
Hope that helps!
Good Luck

Sure, no problem. What sort of budget did you have in mind? Plenty of properties like that, especially if you are looking for 55 plus.
