Its better for you to experience it for yourself, and see how you feel once you've lived the experience = )
I would recommend making the drive during rush hour to see how they compare based on where you are going. I would doubt that one would be much worse than the other but you should really take the time to try that out if you think it could be an issue for you.
If you have any other questions please let me know. I have lived in Cedar Park for over 8 years now and previously lived near Terravista previously before relocating here. Both places are wonderful in different ways. I am also a wholesale mortgage broker and if you are looking at existing or new build homes my financing options are considerably better than what builders or retail banks are able to offer you. I work at the wholesale level so working with my wholesale lenders on an average loan size of say $250,000 would allow me to give you a lender credit of about $5,000 to $6,000 if I offered you the same interest rate or could go with a considerably lower interest rate as well.
Best of luck to you. Hope this helps.

Terravista has more exits, but it's own traffic problems being right off 1431.
There are many other things to consider beyond traffic when comparing the two. If you have any more questions or would like some help narrowing your options, I'd be happy to help.
