Any home that is sold "closed" after being listed Active Contingient, is usually listed as Pending at the same List price, and then changed to Sold. Once it is listed as sold, the Sale (closing) price is listed as well as the original listing price. Often it will also list if the Seller made any concessions or contributions to the closing costs. After it records and becomes public record, there are a number of additional ways to see this price, including right here on Trulia.
If you develop a relationship with a Realtor, they can pull up the MLS closing price as soon as it is closed. If you are a homeowner, or are contemplating becoming one, you should find a Realtor to be part of your support team, like your accountant, Lawyer and Insurance Agent. Even if your home purchase is not in the immediate future, many agents will be willing to fill this position and serve as a resource to you.
I would appreciate the chance to earn the right to be part of your team.
