Is there a decent place to buy a house in San Antonio that won't "break the bank"?

Moving to San Antonio and need to find something fast and not too high-priced since I'll be taking a big cut in pay.

Hey Lauri and Welcome to San Antonio! I guess the first question would be, where will you be working. San Antonio has a few areas where you can still get in for a reasonable price. Also, there are so many new home builders that are offering great incentives. Any Realtor can show you these incentives, if you already have one ask them to check the current "Realty Pak". If you need help let me know!

There are a ton of places here in SA that are affordable! There are so many to choose from that it would be necessary to narrow down a certain area that would be of intrest to you. Are you fimiliar with San Antonio?

Depends on what you need, and what you want to be close to. You can find a big range of homes in different parts of town, but you have to know what you want to be close to. Is there a specific place you need to be close to?

Lauri,

There are some fantastic bargains all around San Antonio. Your buyer representative can search for you based on distance from work, schools, zip code, amenities, price and so on. We have so many search fields available to us that it makes searching fun. High priced is a relative term and could mean many differing figures but I'm sure you can find a home that is suitable for your budget. We also have some wonderful down payment assistance programs available that are a benefit if you qualify. If you would like to see some options please don't hesitate to ask/email.
