Any time is a good time to buy........

If its the perfect home.....

If it's situated in a great location......

If it's offered at a price that you can't walk away from.......

It definitely is -- there are a lot of people foreclosing on vacation homes or having to sell them because they just can't afford them anymore. I just read a good blog post about how if you rent out your vacation home for 17 weeks out of the year, you'll pay off the mortgage for the year. So if you're at all wary, you may think about renting out the place. Good luck!

It certainly is if Santa Fe, New Mexico is the location in your future. AARP just rated Santa Fe as the #4 retirement destination community. People visit or relocate to Santa Fe for the lifestyle, culture, outdoor and healthy environment. We have the highest US art-per-capita rate even greater than NYC! Our community has a range of homes, small condominium developments (2 to 6 units), townhomes, luxury properties, golf properties and ranches and a range of prices and values. If you love Santa Fe, now is a very good time to consider our market for your second home or vacation property. If you are looking for a replacement property for your 1031 exchange, the value available in Santa Fe today should not be overlooked for any investment. For more information on our local market, send an email to Good luck. Emily Medvec
