Is it possible to recommend an agent? We are so happy with the house we bought and the help we received.

Absolutely. Look your agent up on Trulia and on their profile page you can write a review. You will need to log on with your Facebook ID to do so.

Your agent will be very happy with a positive reference, and hopefully your business relationship with him/her will go beyond just one transaction. What would be helpful is if you describe specifically what you liked about this agent ahd how he/she acted to resolve the challenges that came along the way.

Congrats on your purchase and how good of you to offer a recommendation of your agent. As others have mentioned, Trulia and Zillow have introduced referral/recommendation functionality and I am certain your agent would greatly appreciate you taking the time to post there.

You can work from your agent's profile on both sites.

There is now a new button on Trulia that allows you to recommend your agent and have it appear with their profile. It's a great way for other clients to see that you appreciated your Realtor!

Congratulations on your purchase and your Realtor for a successful and client fulfilling transaction.

Sure! There are numerous avenues to recommend your agent.
Since you are inquiring on this forum, the first place you should start is by finding his/her profile on Trulia and click the RECOMMEND button, then fill in the details.
You can also recommend them on other sites as well, like,, as well as other sites, and perhaps get your recommendation put on his/her ActiveRain profile if they have one.
But the best recommendation you can give would be by word of mouth throughout the community!

Thanks for supporting your Realtor and enjoy your property!

Kapet - Congratulations on your purchase!! How very exciting for you. So glad you had a great experience with your agent and that you want to share it. In addition to posting recommendations in your agents profile here's another great way you can refer your agent - anytime you hear of someone who is thinking about buying or selling, tell them what a great agent you have and ask them for their permission to have your agent CALL THEM. Rather than passing our your agents cards and expecting the buyer/seller to call the agent put the agent in control by first getting that permission and then calling the agent and letting them know. You will have opened the door for the agent and, based on your referral, that initial contact should be much more successful. Did you also know that you can help your agent earn additional $$ even if the buyer/seller is not in their market area. Follow the same process described above and your agent will then interview and find them a suitable agent in whatever market the buyer/seller is in. Your agent then earns a referral fee for that contact and loves you totally!!!

Many agents build their businesses completely by referral and rely on your word-of-mouth advertising.

Congrats again!

Yes you can and you should. If you had great service people need to know about it.

The first question is. Is your agent on Trulia?

If so, Please do a recommendation for him/her. This way everybody who looks at his/her profile will see your recommendation.

Good agents need to stand out and this is one of the best ways.

Hope that helps.

Real estate agents really rely on referrals! There is no better advertisement than someone who appreciates the work you have done and are willing to talk about it!
Where do you want to recommend your great agent? To a friend? Do it! They will love you forever for it!
