If you chose to buy a multifamily housing maybe it is possible because every property is different and because each owner has a unique vision for his or her financial future, it’s imperative that you hire a company with experience in this specific sector. Multifamily properties are unique, and residential realtors aren’t usually savvy when it comes to the inherent intricacies of an apartment complex.

Maybe not zero, but you can get pretty close. It depends on what the lender allows for the loan program(s) that you qualify for.
I would start with your bank. Ask for the loan officers near you. Make an appointment and see what they say. You never know until the go over everything with you since the programs change all the time. Be sure to ask about a Mortgage Credit Certificate. That is in effect when there are funds available.
