In terms of market activity, the trend is towards sellers right now as we are below 6 months' of inventory for sale (which is considered a balanced market). However, prices still haven't completely recovered. While sellers can get their homes sold faster than before, and often receive multiple offers (if the home is in a good area and is move in ready), if they purchased their home during the market heydey they may not recover the purchase price.
As interest rates are low, coupled with the affordable pricing in our area, it is still a good time to buy and the market isn't completely slanted towards sellers. There is good news for everyone right now!
