Hi Jenette,

There could be many reasons a home is still showing up as active. First if you could share where you saw this listing that could help. Was it on Realtor.com or here on Trulia? How do you know its under contract.

Many times when a Realtor doesn't mark the home as being under contract in the MLS, it will still show up on other sites such as Realtor.com. If there are contingencies the Realtor must also note that as well.

Are you working with a Realtor? You could also ask him/her to look into it for you.

As you can see, we woud all love to assist you.

If there is anything that I personally can do for you, please do not hesitate to just ask me.

If it is under contract it may show as active-other. This means there are contingencies that need to be met prior to the home showing as pending in the system. Usually this is done within 2 weeks of the contract date. Let me know if that helps.

What house? What is the MLS#? If you are talking about a listing on Trulia, there may be some delay. Also, listings could be active while under contract if there is some sort of contingency with the Sales Agreement.
