If a buyer has an accepted offer and has posted earnest money, when can the seller invoke the attorney review clause to rescind the accepted contract.

Yes, in Illinois unfortunately for the Buyer the Seller can use the Attorney review clause to rescind an offer. The Buyer may inquire the specific reason, then consider re-submitting a new offer.
