If I've never owned a home before, but my husband has (does), can we still qualify for the first time buyer program in the state of Colorado?

First of all, there are no real "first time buyer" benefits anymore, unless you're trying to get down payment assistance money through CHFA. This is something you need to discuss with a local lender. If you are trying to pursue this, I don't think you'd qualify for that. There is no longer a big tax credit for first time buyers, like there was years ago.

I have a great local lender I work with. Let me know if you'd like her contact info.

Also, where are you looking to buy? I'm happy to assist.
