The neighborhood around Jacaranda Parkway is located in the very northeast corner of Cape Coral.
Directly north of Jacaranda Parkway is the Gator Circle neighborhood which was an area of much speculation during the real estate boom years. This is a plated community with single-family homes on 1/4 acres lots. Gator Circle is all well/septic as public utilities have not been extended to this neighborhood. There are a significant number of freshwater canals in the Gator Circle neighborhood and many homes have rear water views. Directly south of Jacaranda Parkway is the Coral Lakes gated community. Coral Lakes has both single-family homes and town homes. Coral Lakes is served by municipal water and sewer and the community has an extensive list of amenities including a clubhouse, fitness center, pool and tennis. Jacarnada Parkway is also home to Los Lomas and The Woods neighborhoods. These communities feature ranch-style living on large, secluded parcels. These communities have well/septic.
For any crime issues consult with the local police department, for water quality contact the local water company for any available reports, taxes will vary, etc., possibly consider asking locals/neighbors; if you don't have an agent, consider the idea.

Without an address your question is difficult to answer. Taxes depend on the value of the home and also vary depending on your status as owner (you get a homestead exemption if you live in the home as your primary residence which lowers your taxes.
As a resident of Cape Coral for over 22 years I know the area extremely well and would happy to discuss the area with you and explain things like the utility expansion project for city water and sewer.
Feel free to contact me if I can be of assistance.
