Dear Yakov:

Before you do anything you should get yourself pre-qualified for a mortgage, unless you will be buying all cash, then you simply have to show proof of funds. If you need help doing that let me know, I can give you some helpful tips. If you are pre-qualified and want to look at properties in the Sheepshead Bay, Homecrest and Midwod area, please contact me, one of my offices is located at 2922 Avenue R and I service all of those neighborhoods on a regular basis since 1993!

Good luck!

You can buy anywhere you like within your means, therefore why not consider working with an agent of your own; he/she can provide suitable listings, any necessary information, schedule showings, etc.; be aware that a mortgage pre-approval letter is required in order to determine your price range and for any offers to be taken seriously.
