Vivian,

Your question is too broad. Are you talking about a rental home, condo, townhouse or apartment? How many bedrooms and baths? In what part of Fremont?

Much will depend on exact location, size, amenities, etc., therefore consider working with an agent of your own who can provide any necessary information...

Hi Vivian,

Just a rough idea:
One bedrooms: 1,200-1,300
Two bedrooms: 1,400-1,600
Three bedrooms: 1,800-2,300
Four bedrooms: 2,300-2,800

Hope this helps.

I am showing an "Ardenwood" 4 bedroom / 3 bath for $2,350. (great price)
Two showings: Tuesday: 3:00-3:30
Weds.: 5:30-6:00

Hi Vivian, you got good answers. Carl makes a good point. For my two cents, I like to use Craigslist.org or Rentometer.com........Dawn

I recommend http://www.rentometer.com as well - you can plug in any give address and property configuration to get a good range. As John pointed out, there really is no such thing as an average rent - rents vary depending on property configuration, location, schools, condition of the property and so much more. A 2/BR unit in Forest Park will have a drastically different rate than a 4/BR single family home in Parkmont or Brookvale. It also depends on what neighborhoods you are including in "North" Fremont - north of Mowry? Thornton? Decoto?

Hi Vivian, 2 or 3 bed room town homes and condos would be between $1600 to $2000 in 94536 0r 94538 zip codes. If want to rent in 94539 or 94555 zip codes rent would be little bit higher because of schools.
