But most homes there do not have these (nor in next door Fairfax) and almost all the homes are 'historic' in that they were built many (many!) decades ago. What is the significance of the plaque other than perhaps the home being registered with RAP? Who awards the plaques, and generally based on what criteria? What obligations does the buyer assume for such a home. What tangible benefits might apply? Many thanks!
