I'm going to be negotiating with an new subidivsion builder and would greatly appreciate input as to tips on negotiating the upgrades. I know the builders don't want to lower the asking prices, and I'm willing to pay it if they throw in 50-55k in upgrades and pay my closing costs, using their lender. Since negotiating with a builder isn't something that everyone does all the time, a check point list of ways to bring them down or some pointers would be helpful.
