Now that you're done laughing at Mr. Negativity below, my answer is as serious as your question. In all honesty, you're better-served asking this question of one of your friends or colleagues. See who they've used and what type of experience they've had. If they recommend someone, it's worth it to contact them and at least let them know you're looking. Of courseI'd be happy to help you, as a Broker with nearly 15 years experience. I compare asking for a reference in a Realtor to asking for a reference in an Estate or Financial Planner. Buying a home is a MONUMENTAL decision. There are enough agents in Greensboro that you owe it to yourself to find someone that you get along with, can relate to (age, likes, dislikes, etc) and don't have a problem saying "No" to when it comes to a house. At the end of the day, it's your $. Unfortunately there's not a BBB solely for real estate agents. I worked with 2 franchise companies here in town. Now I own a small company, and my business is 95% based on referrals. It's the way I survive.
Best of luck to you.
