Home Buying in Malverne>Question Details

Martdad626, Home Buyer in New York, NY

I'm thinking about selling a nice 3br brick colonial. Wanted to see how some of these higher priced homes did.

Contact and invite a few agents from different realty companies and ask for a cma, comparable market analysis, review the data, ask opinions and go from there; cma's are generally provided free of charge by most agents; if you decide to sell, consider hiring the agent you liked best and who had the most to offer.

Hello, the prices in Malverne have started to move up.. Pricing your home is based on many factors,
location, condition, size of your home etc.. Your can browse homes sold in Malverne on the different websites, or I would be happy to email information regarding houses that have sold recently to you.

Search for comparable homes on MLSLI.com or local websites or contact a Realtor who covers that area.

As the others have said, the best way to get an accurate price range would be to have a Realtor provide you with a Market Analyis of your home. If you just want to get a general idea on your own, you can search recently closed listings at http://MLSLI.com.

I would be happy to assist you but I would need some more detailed information about the home first. I can provide a Comparative Market Analysis for you. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.

Hi Martdad626, if you are going to list with an agent have a few come by and have them prepare free CMA's. By getting three or four you should have a good idea of the value as well as each agents commission and marketing plans. I would pay especially close attention to the marketing plans as some agents will put it on the MLS and call it a day and other's will have actual marketing strategies.

You'll need to be more specific -- i.e. property address or neighborhood? And it would be good for an agent to preview the home to see how it compares to other properties that have sold. I'm sure any Realtor would be happy to give you a free CMA (comparative market analysis).
