Monroe is a great place to live!

I have lived here since 1997 and enjoy raising my daughter here. My entire immediate family moved to Monroe as well. I would highly recommend it!

I would be happy to answer specific questions and offer to assist you in your search.

Hey Princesse, I used to live in Stamford back in the day and now live in Monroe with my family. I'm not an agent or have anything to do with real estate but if you happen to still have any questions shoot me an email at mganino@excite.com I just saw your question was from back in 2008 so maybe you're one of my neighbors now...LOL

Monroe is a wonderful town! I've lived here for many years and love the community, as well it's accessibility to Easton, Shelton, Bridgeport, Trumbull, and numerous routes and highways! Thee are many neighborhoods to choose from depending on your home and location (proximity to certain towns/highways) criteria. Check out http://www.monroect.org for more information on the town, and feel free to contact me for assistance when you are ready to begin your search: Jennifer McCoy, jennifer.mccoy@sothebysrealty.com, 203.231.6030. Monroe is a lovely town . The best way to go about it is to speak to an agent that knows the area well . Listings can be emailed and you can either drive -by or make an appointment with a realtor.

Your best bet for starting a search in a new town is to meet with an agent that knows the town and can send you some listings for the types of houses and neighborhoods you are looking for. After the initial tour, and having given you a map of the town, you can take your time and drive around and get a feel for the different neighborhoods. If you visit my website at http://www.ListedByJan.com you will have access to town, community, school, and local events, among other things under Local Resources. I hope this answers your question; feel free to contact me at jan.sans@gmail.com with any further questions or concerns.

I work for Century 21 in Monroe on Route 111. There are many great neighborhoods in Monroe. You should base where in Monroe you would like to live on where you will be commuting to work, how much you would like to spend, how rural you would like to be etc. I used to live in Monroe & I am very familiar with the area. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
Thank you,
